Default Help California guys

Need some help finding out who tuned my 07 I bought last fall. The dealer I bought the car from has no clue who did the work. The only clues I have are that it came from California and there is a small sticker on the fan shroud that says SCR Tuned with a red line drawn rocket ship behind the letters.

The car has heads and cam long pipe headers straight pipe exhaust coil packs and a good running tune. The problem is if I want to add to it in the future I would really like to know what cam it is etc.

Thanks in advance.

Easy answer just Google SCR tune. I did and you will get your answer. Not a Forum vendor so I will not "Link" it.

The dealer is clueless too so I would avoid them in the future. Or they did not want to get involved either way not good customer service.

Really in this day and age......

Unless you can get a hold of the original order who bought the cam I am not sure there is a way to figure out what cam you have. Some cam manufacturers put numbers on the cam to help you identify, but I don't know if that goes for all cam manufacturers

Like this from crane cams

I did google it. Don't think it is the same company the one I think you are referring to has a mountain behind there letters. My sticker has a line drawn rocket.

I will check to see if the cover has specs thanks didn't think of that. I still am searching for who did the tune so I can find out the rest of what they modified.

Thanks everyone.

Apologies for my wise crack.

I searched again and the mountain theme Co. was not what I initially saw.

After a search though I could not find what I think I saw earlier.

Maybe I am just losing my mind...or I was directed to another page for the mountain Shop and did not notice the theme.

It should be a available find but ot so.

No worries. I have been searching for a while now. Wish there was a way to post a picture from my phone.

I was just hoping with all the folks on here someone would recognize it by my description. Who ever built and tuned my car did a bang up job.

Check with the DMV. I think you can get the previous owners name from them, without the address though. This might help you track them down. Tell them your problem and maybe there is another solution around the privacy laws. I understand that the DMV might be able to send a registered letter for you to the withheld address in some circumstances.

Peddling hard to make up for my foot in the mouth routine.

Anyone with EFI Live V2 or HP Tuners can copy and save your tune. As long as it isn't LOCKED.

If its not locked, you can change the parameters to accommodate any future mods.

Unless the original tuner makes unlimited updates/tuning changes, all they can do for you is tell you when it was tuned and for what.

See if you can find someone EFI Live V2. They can track the changes from the OEM Tune and that will give you an idea of what was done.
