Hmm. Unless they want to use my car for testing and essentially give me the headers, I won't be getting them. However, if they had this larger size before I bought my 1 3/4", I would have bought them.

Ordered the 1 7/8 tri-y's from Pfadt. From what I can see you get more torque in the midrange with them. I called phadt and they were certain that with the new bigger design my 850rwhp would be supported and had some dyno tests to prove it. They said I would pickup more torque with them over using any other header and still have my peak. I'll post up the results when I get them, should be early october

Good deal. I would have got them if they were available when I bought mine. As it is, my wee 1 3/4 are doing well.

No need. The 1 3/4s are good to near 800rwhp easily. I am making 780rwhp using the Pfadt 1 3/4s on my FI Cammed LS2, so the headers are not limiting me. Everyone really needs to understand that there is a huge difference between the Tri-Y design and 4 into 1 header designs, regarding primary diameter.

To th OP though, good move going with their 1 7/8s for your setup. Interested to hear about any improvements over your previous setup.

I called Pfadt and they said the same thing. That I would just shift the torque curve to the right and get maybe 10rwhp at my power level.
