TPMS Reset Tools in the UK
I will shortly need to reset the sensors on my 2005. I have spoken to my local Chevy agent who holds an Orange Electronic OEC-T5 EL-50448 tool but we are unsure if it will work on my US spec car.
So question- do these tools all activate both US and UK frequencies? I know the Ateq VT range claim to activate any known sensor so can anyone advise on the Orange T5.

OK finally got a response from the manufactures site and they assure me that this Orange T5 tool will work on both US and UK frequencies, I have an idea that the frequency used for triggering the sensors may be different from the actual transmitting frequency of the sensors, seems like a good theory??

315 mHz is the frequency the US sensor. Sensors for a C6 built for overseas delivery uses a different sensor that transmits on 433 mHz
As long as the TPMS tool can program both you will be fine.
