Building my Z06 what clutch to consider!? help
Hello all..
Currently rebuilding my 2006 Z06 that grenaded into pieces about a month ago. Im going to have a pretty aggressive motor going back in the car and want to know what clutch is best or a few options while the car is apart.
Motor will be as follows: Texas speed and performance 441 LS7 with 285cc heads and an aggressive cam to go along with it. Specs are putting horsepower at about 750 at the crank all said and done and i need a clutch that will handle the power as well be driven on the street with out an issue. Any recommendations would be a big help. Thanks guys!

Mantic 9k. I've had a ls9r, and installed/driven RXTs. The mantic is the best out of them.

Monster LT1SC gets my vote, but I may be a little biased It's a modified LT1 twin(out of the C7) with ceramic discs to hold 1000rwhp. It has the pedal effort of a stock clutch and better longevity than any twin on the market as it is the only one to utilize a self adjusting pressure plate to compensate for wear with twice the friction surfaces and this is an updated SAC system compared to the LS6/7 design so it doesn't have any high rpm release issues. We don't have it listed on our website yet, but have made posts about it on here. We're currently running a sale for $125 off with free shipping for the holidays making it $1174.99 to your door for a basic package with standard weight billet flywheel, feel free to call me with any questions.
