Engine codes question
I own a 2012 GS highly modded (blower, cam, headers, etc.), for the past two years after the car was sitting for several winter months it displayed the same engine codes once being started. Code P0171 (system too lean bank 1) P0300 (cylinder 1 misfire detected) and P0300 PD (pending).
I drove the car from last spring until late December without the codes returning, but once the car sits for a few months and it seems to be cold related the codes return. I reset the codes today and today was the first time it was started in several months. And after driving the car with several starts and stops of the engine, the codes did not return. All seems ok now.
So I assume the codes will return again next year after it sits next winter. Any idea what may be causing this, the car seems to run fine without any issues otherwise?
