Baby Cam DIY install finished in LS2 222/228 x 114
Just started up my 2007 C6 up for the first time after cam install. Cam is CamMotion 222/228 x 114+4 .578/.561. I know its a small cam. The only other mods i have are Long Tube Headers and Cold air intake. Car started right up with no check engine light..woo hoo. Valvetrain seemed very quiet (stock-like). However, i did notice a very, very slight "chirp"? I noticed someone posted a thread where a chirp was a spun bearing. Should i be concerned? I plan on getting it dyno tuned shortly. I will post results and maybe i can provide some feedback for the many people who wish to stay small.
For those interested.. my goals were:
1. Quiet Valvetrain / soft lobes for reliability
2. Good low end torque with stock compression
3. Slight lope with zero driveability issues
4. A nice kick in the pants when passing 4K rpm
Also - THANK YOU to all the members that helped me along they way. I never would have attempted or finished this job without all the help i received from the great people on this forum.
