Default Help! APS clutch line replacement

I'm new to posting to forums but I have been searching for days and cannot find any recent posts about the aps line replacement. I installed my long tubes and burnt my clutch/slave line and want to try to repair it. Does anyone know how long the braided line in the aps kit is? And where can I get one made and buy the fittings? will I be able to bleed the air once it is repaired? car is a 05 z51

Not familiar with the line, but this should point you in the right direction.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...placement.html

Also note, the link had both the install instructions in it, and well as the list of parts, so looks like you may be able to just order a new line, or at least have a new line made by using the old parts from it (hose ferrules removed, new line installed, with new hose ferrules re-clamped.

Going to be a lot cheaper just having the one you have re-made.

SS braided pressure line is pretty cheap, and just need to find someone that had a ferrule crimper to crimp in new ferrule caps.

Check with some plumbing supply shops, and best bet, will be a done deal for less than $10 ( they will have the needed SS braided line, the needed ferrules, and even the ferrule crimper tool as well).

So all you need to do is cut the old ferrules off, so you have the end pieces down to the hose barbs, the hose in hand for the needed size and length, and they will do the rest in about a min flat to rebuild it with the old parts and new line/ferrules.
