Your RWHP threshold that made you happy?

531 RWHP/496 RWTQ (N/A LS3) is an awesome time on the street. I don’t launch it much, but some careful slipping of the stock clutch on Toyo proxes TQ’s 315/35/18’s. The car hits like a hammer in First with no spinning in the summer, grabbing 2nd is more than just a shove forward. Letting the car devour 3rd out to 6500rpm is something that feels so smooth yet visceral until you let off of it and realize how hard the car is pulling. Running out 4th just sounds like you’re running away from jail.
Oddly enough I’m still thinking about a more custom (streetable) bump stick that the best seller on earth (my mentor) had made for the specific setup in the car currently sitting on my shelf. It has a little more of everything to it and from my calculations it should put the car at around 560 RWHP/ 505-510 RWTQ at around 6600. Once I do this though I may drive it for a year then swap back to the slightly milder custom grind and add a whipple or a ported 2300tvs to hit the 700hp/600tq mark with a wide booty setup.

I got used to stock power within a few days. Heads/cam/e85 bumped power to 530whp. Felt like a new car again. Added headers and bumped power to 550whp; not much different in seat of the pants feel. Added a ported MSD intake and NW102 TB, that took it to 575whp and felt like a new car again but then got used to it within a few days. Continued to make more power; 602, 608, 612 and now 646whp. In the end, you lose that initial wow factor and it becomes normal.

The factory 436, with torque management removed, various tables slightly tweaked, and A6 retuned to my liking is plenty for me.

If you upgraded your HP incrementally, did you cross a number where you were like "hell yah!" ?
I've upgraded my base and have 520 RWHP now. Car is definitely fun, but I'm wondering just how much more HP I'd need for it to really blow my mind when doing rolling start pulls.
From a complete stop, I can get butterflies consistently..but not if I'm already going 30 or 40MPH.
I'd love to hear your stories and what you had to do to get to reach that oh wow HP level.

14psi is pretty fun, if that's what you're asking
Never had it on a dyno though

Your RWHP threshold that made you happy?
I like being one car faster than the guy next to me. If I am not then I am not happy I then need more Horse Power.

550 rwhp generated by a Maggie blower. 100% torque at 1800 rpm. Tire shredder, instant push to the seat-back fun.

I've had a few Vettes over the years. From a stock 225hp '73 model to two supercharged C6's at over 700hp. Several in between. None was really more satisfying than the other. Had fun in them all. My current C6 has a pile of parts waiting for the right time to install them. Heads and mild cam build. I'm guessing I'll be satisfied with that one too. It's bone stock now. Matter of fact, I had a little fun in it on the way home from a dinner date with my bride of 35 years. A pesky Mustang blew past me on a long straight. Sounded like something wasn't present and accounted for when he passed.....like maybe two cylinders. Got him coming out of the next curve.
