Default E-brake adjustment

On my 08/Z51 the E-Brake does not engage until I pull it up as for as I can.When it was new it would engage when I pulled it up only about 2".Any Help.Thanks

Pretty sure it auto adjusts when you engage the e-brake while moving backwards. I could be wrong, though.

If it doesn't engage after that, he'd have to check cables, then remove brakes and check brake linings.
