From what I've learned recently, the Fast 102 won't gain much for you on an LS3. Probably looking at 40 or so rwhp from what you have listed. Adding a cam would be the next logical step to adding real power after this.

I agree with 40 to 45 whp.
And I would save your money on the Fast 102 stuff unless you add a big cam. Oh, and I have a Fast 102 on my Vette.

So, step 1 on a LS3, cold air intake+ headers with high flow cars + tune. This gets you 40 to 45 whp.

More parts than that, you need a cam or save the cold air intake and add a blower, then a tune. If you go cammed, then an intake manifold will add power, after that it's porting and shaving heads. My LS3 gained close to 140 whp without doing head work.

Is the car auto or manual?

My car is a similar setup to that.

Fast 102
Vararm intake
LG headers
Catless xpipe
Corsa Xtreme

Made 417/402 through a stalled auto. Before the car had a stock intake manifold, cats, npp mufflers, and a airaid and made 408/408. The fast didnt pick up much peak power and actually lost some midrange torque but up top in the rpms it held power out better and with those changes from 408/408 to 417/402 picked up 5 tenths and 5mph at the track.

Everyone says the fast isnt worth the money but I did it as I'm staying bolt ons for now and on the dyno it wasnt worth much but at the track it was worth every penny in my opinion.

Wow , fantastic numbers , that is so great !!

I just put vararam on and next is the headers , high flow cats and a tune ....

I want to do a blower but I am afraid I can't get enough tire under the car and would have to go drag radials or a set of "boots"

Awesome Thanks guys. I already purchased the Fast 102 intake manifold and air raid intake. I wanted to go all motor. without upgrading my bottom end.

I was thinking
CNC Heads Ported
Cam
FBO
Tune high octane
and probably a 100shot for fun.

What do you guys think?

Im not too concerned with drivability because i only drive it once or twice a week.

whats the best HP mods I can get for my $$$. ??

P.S. its a 6speed. C6David

Default Time slip?

I hate to sound skeptical but do you have a time slip to back that claim? I ask because you would be rated as the fasted C6 with bolt ons according to the 1/4 mile challenge board.

I do have a timeslip to back it up. It was an all out hero pass. Only thing I didnt do was run different gas. Only have 91 octane. I even changed drivers after I couldnt get it to go any faster as Im a big guy. I personally did back to back 10.52@127 1.39 60ft. Then dropped another 120lbs and thats the 10.42@128 pass.

Car usually runs 10.7-10.9 @ 123-125

Solid heads cam combo will get you around 500-530whp. That alone the car is going to be moving. Add a 100 shot on top and itll be a blast.

Thanks for the reply David.I see your profile says your C6 has a 4K stall and N2O. Is that time with the NOS?

No nitrous on that pass. I'll update my profile as all the nitrous stuff was sold a while ago. Sadly the car went slower on the juice compared to the new all motor time. Best nitrous time was 10.49@131. Nitrous plus the single disk 4k stall was not a good combo at all. It was blowing through the converter so bad it was in 3rd gear at the 330ft. Went back to the drawing board after that fiasco. At that time the car just had headers, airaid, stall and bested an 11.3@119.

So to keep this thread related theres some good gains to be had in the addition to adding and changing a few small peices.

The car went from 11.3@119 to 10.7@125 by adding a fast 102. Changing the airaid out for a vararm intake. And taking 25lbs of rotational mass off the rear wheel/tire combo

Default looking for better times.

Thanks again. I am just curious. Last year i had ported intake and TB,K&N, and LT headers with catted xpipe and Corsa exhaust and best time I could get was 12.298 on street tires.
That being said, I have now upgraded and have a custom cam, 3000 stall TC, 3.42 rear end and DR's and my mechanic said i should be in the 10's. I am also a big guy. Based on what I've read, apples to apples, i really should be able to get lower times than that. Well, the track was rained out this weekend which was opening weekend but there's next weekend.
Wish me luck.
