Default LS3 C6 100 RWHP Gain with LG Motorsports

Finished this black beauty up last week.

Completely stock 2008 M6 Corvette Z51 wanting power and sound with the thoughts of maybe a little spray later on. Full exhaust, cold air and a cam is always a good way to lay a foundation on building HP.
  • LG 1 3/4 Super Pro's for C6Z
  • LG Carbon CAI
  • LG G6X3 cam kit
  • B&B Bullet C6Z muffler kit
  • Installed and tuned by LG Motorsports

Solid gain across the RPM range and a killer sound to boot!

Curious for a price range for work like this? I'd like to know if my local shop is competitive or not.

Thanks.

^ Anthony- could you PM me a ballpark number as well. Your post has possibly created an itch. Also, any thoughts as to how this would do as a daily driver of 100/miles a day? Reliability issues vs stock? Thanks!

Any time you do a cam upgrade, the biggest wear item is going to be valve springs. Depending on the cam and how the car is used when you would have to change those. Spring changes can need to be done as soon as 12-15k miles or as much as 40k, but either way they have to be done at some point. That being said, do your normal spring changes, plugs, and oil...and we have had customers go 60k, 80k, even 100k on daily driver cam'd cars.

Just depends on how they are cared for like anything else.
