Ls2 35mpg AVG After z06 k&n, fast 102, headers, xpipe, corsa z06 exhaust & HP Tuners
I updated my air in and air out and used HP tuners to tune my low rpm using my fuel trims and I was surprised to see such a huge jump in mpg. Take a look 35 mpg avg. This was thruway driving for 35 min.
The mods I did were A new K&N Z06 cold air intake with ls3 slotted MAF, Fast 102 Intake manifold, Fast fuel Rails, 1 7/8 Kooks Long tube Headers, 3 inch xpipe with high flow cats, Corsa z06 cat back exhaust. HP Tuners basic fuel trim tune.

I'll manually calculate it the next time I fill my tank. I noticed my fuel lasted alot longer these past few days since I completed the new mods. That's what made me check the avg mpg on the way home yesterday.

Yeah, manually calculate it and see what you get
Mine says I get 40+ and over 600 miles per tank. Needless to say, I don't
There are some fuel density tables you can change to make it more accurate once you have an idea how far off it is

Also, are you running a Wideband? If you're going to cut a bunch of fuel for fuel economy I'd be keeping a close eye on your AFR.. Also the motor is probably going to run hotter with it being so lean. I've never gotten better than 28ish regardless of if it was bone stock or fully modded (manually calculated)

You can't force it to run leaner without putting it in open loop all the time. As long as it's closed loop it's going to push fueling towards lambda +/- 1.
