Default LS3/L92 Rocker Arms

As part of my LS3/L92 top end addition to my LS2 engine, I will need rocker arms.

As I will need to buy these (heads didn't have them), I figured I would ask those who have experience as to what are some of the better rocker arms out there for this swap? Stock? Aftermarket?

I have seen mention of Yellow Terra (sp?), but cant seem to find the details now. I've seen mention of just the trunion upgrade.

So, please school me on LS3/L92 rocker assemblies.

Thank you in advance!

I have stockers with Comp Cam trunions.

My engine builder said that was all I needed with Comp 469 hydraulic lifter cam I used.

The second pic above is Comp Ultra Pro Magnum full rollers, and about $600.

A bit more ($1200), and you can have the Jesel shaft rockers. The shaft rockers have never given me any issue on my other high lift, SR engine.

Are there any modifications required to run aftermarket rockers on the LS3 heads?

As in the Ultra Pro Magnums or shaft type rockers. I had to do extensive modifications to run shaft rockers on my older engine.

the stock seem to work as well as anything else.you will need new intake rockers as the LS3 has offset rockers.lots on here have reported issues with Comp's trunion upgrade

What issues are being reported? I do not want issues with this new build. Reliability is high on my priority list.

It is quite odd that CompCams would have issues with the trunion bearings. They have been doing shaft (Magnum) rockers for decades.

It sounds like stock rockers or a full roller rocker assembly is the only path forward.

Bushed ones work fine. Stock rockers work fine. Just put a set of stock rockers on.

The bushed or trunnion upgraded factory rockers are what I would recommend you go with.

Does your company sell a complete L92/LS3 top-end kit. Basically putting a list together of everything I need, It would be nice if I could buy it all from one vender, if possible.

LS3/L92 heads, LS3 intake, LS3/L92 rockers, etc.

KSA Aaron we do offer these items. Will you be needing any other items such as camshaft, springs, pushrods, or anything like that? I would be happy to put some pricing together for you.

Thanks for the response. Planning to use the BTR Stage II turbo cam with matching springs. I will need timing chain for an LS2 engine.

I have a set of stock rockers PLUS a set of new bushings that I haven't installed.

PM me if you're interested.
