Default Differential swap questions

I am planning on swapping the transmission and differential in my 2005 C6 to a Z06 T56 and Z06 differential. I have conflicting opinions on the swap. One place says it's a bolt in, others say it will require some fabrication. If anyone knows the facts, please post them.
My car also has a Corsa exhaust and I am concerned it may also need replacement because of the Z06 differential?

The C6 is a 6-speed car.

Thanks in advance.

It should all bolt up. The 05 had an extra connector on the diff that 06 and newer don't have.

UPDATE: if you have Z51, the oil pump on the trans will be fine, if not, you will need to loop the oil cooler lines. Diff also has a cooler, that is tied to the trans.
