C6 Rocker Panel Removal

How do you remove the rocker panels from a 2007 / C6 ? I have minor damage from someone jacking the car & not knowing how or where to place the jack.

You would have much better luck asking in the C6 forum. This is the C5 forum.

if it's the same as a C5 better left to a pro that's done a bunch, as it's bonded to the frame

Its bonded to the frame with heavy duty adhesive. your better off trying to getting it repaired.

With a scraper and jack hammer. It isn't coming off in anything resembling one piece. It's one piece for the door frame and rocker panel. Depending on damage you might be better repairing it instead of replacing.

half the car has to be disassembled along with removing interior to install new rocker panel.better to repair if possible

My 08 has a little damage on both sides caused by a dealer.Can't see the damage unless i lay on my back.the rocker panel is the first piece put on the frame at the factory.No one can see the damage so I'm leaving it like it is.
