Default C6 Bose Radio Amp.

My 2011 C6 Bose radio quit working and has a popping crackling noise in the speakers even after I turn the engine off. I pulled the fuse for the radio and took it to the local Chevrolet dealer. They said it is probably the amplifier and quoted around $600.00 for a special order.

I found new ones online for around $300,00 and used ones for around $170.00 on EBay. I can't find anything online that shows where the amp is located and how hard it is to change out.

Can anyone help or suggest where to look?

Turns out it is intermittent. I plugged the fuse back in and it worked for several days until I went over bump and it had a loud pop and quit working again.
