Not that bad. They handle heat just fine, worst case buy the heat shields.

I've known plenty of people who went from the pfadt to hinsons. The pfadt are too stiff and ok for a race car, but on a street car, no thanks.

Were they getting vibration in the car or parts breaking?

Vibes in car, very rough ride.

Hinsons are amazing, not sure why you would consider anything else.

How did you support engine during install?

I have Pfadts (engine and transmission) in my car. Adds a lot of vibration, but not teeth-rattling like solid mounts. Sort of feels like your seat has a massage function, lol.

I like mine a lot but be warned: any mounts that are appreciably stiffer than stock will find every single rattle you have in your car.

Have the Hinsons and am very happy. Zero issues with headers melting them.

Made my lumpy cam feel smoother in the cockpit.

If you're doing it on jack stands it will need to be way up. Headers have to come off which is tough to do on short jack stands (IMO). To do it with the engine in the car you need to jack the engine up and lower the subframe to get enough clearance. I think I removed the leaf spring to make it easier.

I've had Hinson engine and gearbox mounts on my car for four years along with headers. The header heat has not affected the motor mounts.

Concerned with excessive movement of the shifter during hard shifts at max effort throttle is what prompted me to install these pieces.

I was initially concerned with an increase in nvh. But was pleasantly surprised in that the increase was minimal.

If one drives their car hard these mounts will be beneficial, assuming your are willing to accept a slight increase in nvh.
