They're deep concave. This setup works well for me on the street. Hooks power fairly well at 837whp and is a nicer ride than stock. Will probably need new set of rear tires each year to maintain traction, but that's expected at my power level.
Most guys run 17x11 with the Welds and not 18s like you're looking for, but I believe 18x11s are available.
Thanks I will most likely go with the same rims as yours. Just out of curiosity the guys that run the weld 17x11 rims do they run the same height wall or taller.
Most run the Welds with M&H 325/45/17s, which are listed as a 28" tall tire compared to 27.8" for the MTs. They both measure less when on the car, but are similar in height.
Follow the rim recommendations of the tire company, for this tire it is ( 12.0 ) 11.5-13.5, so you will actually be ok with the 11 from weld, prolly lots of guys running them.
