Default Tires for C6

Looking for good run flat front tires for 2007 C6
P245/40ZR/18 Original are Good Year Eagle F1.
Don't want to spend over $200/ea. High performance not needed.
Any suggestions?

Sorry to say but you aren't going to find run-flat tires for less than $200 a piece. Especially for the rear tires, those are going to be over $300 (285/35/19).

Your best bet are the Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval RFTs, they are $1,072.90 on Tire Rack.

I'd agree with the FireStone FireHawk suggestion.

My suggestion. Up your budget. Tires is not something you should go cheap on. Not that you have to buy the most expensive tire but you should focus more on the performance of said tire vs the cost.

My head just keeps remembering the firestone 500 and 721 problems. Should I move past that problem and move into the 21st century?

You may be on to something. I looked at the new firehawk 500, the price sounds good , with an improved compound from previous tire. I will be purchasing these soon. My front tires look like someone is hitting the turns to hard Thanks for your input Bill
