I have the m&h drag radials on my base they're a year old and I'm still cutting 1.4 60s with a 150 out the hole on a no prep track.

Wow. Thats encouraging. The track i went to would put vht under your wheels if requested. I was concerned about traction once i hit 150 out of the hole, but now I'm just scared I'll run low 6's

I say that optimistically, I'll be supremely happy with 6.7's and a reliable car. Ill be going back next weekend to see what she'll do.

A 6.3x 8th is a 9sec car. My 10.14 pass has a 6.43 8th

Well, i figure my converter being so tight, will respond real well to the 150 out of the hole.

I got a 6.9@103 with the 100 shot programmed from 3400rpm-6250

Im gonna shock it with a 150 from 2800-6400

Im thinking the rpm and hp switch should get a 6.7 conservatively, and the 6.9 was without track prep, which is why i had it coming on at 3400rpm.

Now, i have a 2nd stage which could range from 90 to 120 rwhp. For a total of 240-270 worth of juice. And that, should get a mid to low 6 second pass, i would assume. But things never go my way lol.

I hit 6.70@103 in the 1/8 4,000 ft above sea level with a 6300 da giving me a 10.4@130. Still gets 30mpg highway if im on pump gas not e85.

Yeah it is! But if i can hit low 10s with this high da i know ill put the hurt on a lot of cars that run low 10s with 2000 and lower da.
Here's a thread with all my info in it, plus some videos.

Thanks!
I'm always surprised by it. I don't have a big cam or anything near it, its a soft 150 tuned on e85 with vp110 in the fuel cell but i have it pulling timing for pump gas. I'm going to a bigger cam this winter and next month im going to run it with a 200 shot.

Well i have a pretty good sized cam. But my limiting factor is my converter, at least limiting my NA runs.

I strongly believe its a 9 second car with a 250 shot.

What converter are you running? and single stage 250 or dual stages?

PTI 3600 but its tight, real tight NA.

I was running 1.65 60fts on motor before the skinnies.

Hit it with a 100 shot out of the hole-ish (as stated before, the window switch was set at 3400 to help get traction) and did a 1.56 60ft on a non prepped track.

I assume that hitting it from 2800rpm will flash it to an optimal rpm. But we'll see. I want to stay optimistic about it.

6.3-6.7 is where i wanna be. Any slower and my feelings will be hurt, any faster and ill get an erection.

Update:

i couldn't hook from a dig with either the 110 or 150 pills. Had to wait till she got rolling.

i have to figure out how to get out of the hole with some juice or ill never hit my goals.

as it stands, on the the single stage 110 jet:

7.0@99 1.5460ft
1500 DA

activated the juice around the 30ft mark, no spin.

Tried the 150 pills, but it lost traction so i got out of it.
I logged 2 runs.

considering trying a 75 shot out of the hole, hell... im considering anything to get traction lol

After a few days, it got me thinking about the original question....

the tires are flawless for 465rwhp NA... but throw a 100+ shot of nitrous and the tires cant stick. I know for a fact there are people who dead hook on the spray, and they are putting more hp down than i am.

Have to consider tires size (17vs18"), suspension and progressive controller.

The short term fix is the smaller nitrous shot off the line though.

Update:
Hoosier 28x10x17 drag slicks did the trick.

1.43 60ft
6.70
104.24 mph

On the 200shot.

The slicks even gave me a NA pr on my N20 tune.
1.54 60ft
7.24
96.48 mph

with the 28inch tall tires i can footbrake it to 2800rpm. Which is about 600 more then with the 26inch drag radials. Not sure if that's due to the tire or me actually trying to footbrake it as far as i can.

Before it would try to push me through the lights at 2200 rpm.

oh well, im happy. I think its a 9.9x car with a 300 shot 😎🤣🤣🤣🤣
