How to raise front of car up, (Iron block, turbo).
As stated in title. Car is sitting very low up front.
Car is a 2006 basemodel. I have swapped in an iron 6.0 (LY6) with an 88mm turbo and all manifolds and hardware sitting up front as well. I have raised the car as high as possible on the front bolts, and lowered the rear as low as possible. Car is still much too low in the front for my comfort. If I could get even a 1/2 inch up front, I'd be happy.
As far as I know, I still have stock 115k mile shocks all around. I have heard that the z06 shocks may give me that 1/2 inch. Am I correct?
Any other ideas?

Yes I replaced with z06 shocks and gained probably a 1/2" of height all around, I did have 1 bad shock up front so you may not get that much but the shocks raised the car substantially.
I feel like you should still be able to get it evened out though, you still have the oem lowering bolts right? Are they cut?

I'm going to try the z06 shocks. The extra 200lbs up front warrants some new suspension, regardless whether it helps the height or not.

I maxed out my adjustments on the front end '12 GS, and being OCD like I am, made some custom bushings with the intent to provide more height adjustment. I could frickin plow snow, or scrape leaves...Maggie HB (+100 lbs?), plus slight other mods - plus my fat ***, LOL..
Scrapes going around my block at 8 MPH...
Never installed them, not sure how successful they'd be...
The are delrin, with a lubricated ride poly something bushing (low wear no noise), all machined then glued. Then threaded, with grade 8 hardware...

So I went ahead and replaced my worn out stock shocks with brand new z06 versions. I also added a zr1 front leaf spring. Initially I had hope I had fixed my troubles. But a day and a 20minute drive later, I was right back where I started. Does anyone know how far I can twist the spring stops down to go. As much height as possible on this spring? It's gonna either be doing that, or spending $2k on top of what I just spent, on a coilovers setup...

Can you take a picture of the lowering bolts? You have them adjust down as far as you can while still having decent thread engagement? I know you have alot of extra weight up front but it just seems like you should be able to get it higher than that.
Probably a good Idea to post this in the forced induction section, more guys that are likely to have similar setups will be reading there.

I'm wondering how far down you can push the lowering bolts (thus raising the car), is there a limit to how far down you should screw them in? Right now I have about a half inch between the stop and the leaf, but plenty of bolt above the leaf that I could screw down, unless having too much bolt between the spring and the control arm will be detrimental?
