i bought my car with a JL audio sound system in it, based on the fact that i blew my motor up and i wanna go fast rather than have good audio i decided to sell it and return the audio system to stock. I just recieved an OEM Bose AMP in the mail and i plugged it in and put the car to accessory. nothing came out, no sound or anything. The amp i bought is an 07 and the car is an 05. Are the Amps year specific?

I’m assuming the car had upgraded speakers along with the amp. The installer probably used aftermarket wiring from the amp to the speakers. So you’ll need to pull the door panels of and look at how the speakers are wired.
