Default 2009 NPP Exhaust Upgrade

I recently purchased a 2009 Z51 with the NPP exhaust. The only aftermarket setup I found that utilizes the NPP, is Billy Boat. Are there any other options out there? Thank you for any help.

The Hooker Blackheart line also has a dual-mode system.

they are $1,200 .... wow !

OP why do you want to swap out your NPP mufflers ? Hookers and the others are going to sound almost the same but for a whole lot more money

I’n not real sure about that. When I listen to sound clips of the Fusions and Hooker NPP systems, I hear loud and louder with very little difference between the two. At least with the OE system, you truly get mild and wild.

I was looking at replacing the entire exhaust (headers to tail pipe) but wanted to keep the dual mode as I like the idea of it.

Hooker has a system that utilizes the NPP option and I think it goes for around $1200 new. Here it is:

The only options is Hooker, Billy Boat and the very expensive akrapovic but with Arka you will have to upgrade the whole system to a Z06/ZR1 size system because it's 3" instead of necking down after the mid-pipe. But if you have an auto I hear it's hard to make it work with the 3" unless you hammer or hack up the system.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the z06 has an npp exhaust as well except it's 3in and sounds even better than the base npp look into it! Plenty of Z owners changing their exhausts out

OK. You're wrong.
The Z06 has a bi-mode system as standard equipment. NPP is an option code for LS3 Vettes. The mufflers are essentially the same with only minor differences although the Z06 has a 3" pipe welded on that necks down to 2.5" just before it enters the muffler, where the NPP option is 2.5" all the way.
Of course, you can cut off the 3" pipe at the muffler and weld in your original 2.5" pipe in it's place.

You can keep the mufflers and swap the rest to a Z06/ZR1 system by using a 3" to 2.5" reducer near the back end of the H or X-pipe. Or also by getting long tube headers with a 2.5" X-pipe to match your current over-the-axle pipes.
