Default When Does TPMS Sense Pressure Change?

I need to make sure my TPMS sensors were registered to the car in the correct order. I will change the pressure a few psi in each tire and check the results on the DIC. What does it take to get the sensors to see the new pressure? If the answer is “drive it”, any idea how much driving it takes? Thanks.

It's pretty fast. I believe the sensors have low power and high power modes. In high power mode the updates come a couple times per minute, or right away in the event of a sudden pressure change. The TPMS sensors switch to high power once the wheels start turning.

I deliberately overinflated my tires at a gas station the other day. Warnings appeared on the DIC before I pulled out onto the street.
