Need Widebody Advice Please!
I haven't been here in a while....I'm finally back in a C6 and looking for some direction please. I picked up a black 09 Z51. I'm wanting to do a widebody conversion on the car. I would like to do the rear first and then the front a little later to break up the cost factor.
So help me out....aftermarket parts ok for this? or should I purchase GM parts? Any advice and any suggestions as where to purchase would be greatly appreciated! Glad to be back

I got all OEM parts from Gene Culley back in 2012. Fit great and had them blended and painted on the car. Turned out great.

Yes.....it did turn out great! Looks awesome! So now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t get OEM parts? The fit is obviously very important to me. Be nice to hear from members with RPI on fitment. Is there a big difference in cost OEM vs RPI?

Fit is good on both, but obviously perfect with OEM if installed well.
As far as prices, that's easy to compare on the web. RPI vs Cultrag who is where I would buy OEM. Keep in mind OEM has to be painted while RPI is pre painted.
I went RPI because at the time I got a great deal, but am happy with the fit and the paint match is absolutely perfect.

Big savings when doing the front fenders vs OEM CF.
SS-Vette is a very good option for the rears too if you are on a tighter budget.
You can also save some effort by purchasing the whole OEM "kit" from Cultrag.
Both of these companies are highly regarded Forum Vendors.
