Default side cove screens

I'm a new Corvette owner so please understand if I don't know much about my car yet. I want to put these screens on my car. How are they put on? I'm assuming you have to access them from the inside. If so, exactly how is that done? I look forward to doing business with you.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

I have put similar ones on my 2006. It can be a bit tricky to get them to adhere. It is best to remove the wheel and wheel well liner for easy access. Mine were provided with 2 sided tape simply to hold in place while adhesive dries, and frankly the tape was just in the way. The edge is very small for adhesion. I used clear RTV applied generously on the lip inside the vent. I then put the mesh in place. Now the next thing is critical if you want it to actually stray. You have to put some tension on the mesh and hold it in place. In my case I used 3 bungees on each side. On one side I wrapped them around a garage pole, and the other side I used a large snow blower to attach the straps to. I left them about 12 hrs, and done! I have had a few folks in my club do theirs only to fall off, and they asked my how I did it, and they got the same story!

That's my car in the top picture ... put on over two years ago with tape ...and still look that good ... and I drive my car

The secret is making sure the wire fits the opening and cleaning the inside of the fender really good .

I bent mine ever so slightly to make sure they fit tight and then took the paper off the tape and pressed in place

Thanks for posting the heads up about this product. I just bought a 2006 C6, and I've wanted to add a mesh to the side coves. I just placed an order for a set of these.

Thanks

I got mine installed over the weekend, just in time for a car show on Saturday June 9th. I won two trophies in that show buy the way. I am sure the screens helped. I will get some photos posted soon.
