Default Passenger Heated seat issue

I just brought my car home a couple of days ago so I am still getting used to it.
I noticed that the driver heated seat works fine but when I activate the passenger heat the red light flashes but doesn't stay on.
Anyone have ideas on where to start. Switch ???

I had the same condition with my driver seat heater. The dealer traced it down to a faulty seat bottom heater element. So you have a fault in the heating system somewhere. Each seat has two heating elements, a seat bottom and seat back. You will need to trace to identify exactly where yours is failing.

Let us know what you find to be the problem...GD

Does anyone have the P/N of the heating elements for the passenger seat?

Here are the part numbers - looks like they may be hard to find.

Cultrag claims to have the seat cushion - but not the seat back heater

Here's a used seat back with heater on an auction site -

These guys have both used ( $$$ )

Remember - you can ask any GM dealer to do a nationwide part search - they can give you name/phone number of any dealer showing stock. Granted, they might not actually have it, but if you really want one it might be worth it.

Good luck
