my self doing a cam I would be doing a intake to utilize said cam. Stock intakes are for btr stage 4 **** lol ls3 can handle 8000 rpm with a solid valvetrain. Cam it to shift 7k plus being an auto and land back at 5500-5700 on a gear change an let her put the power down. That’s why in earlier post I asked about your intake. To me this is your limiting factor on how to properly cam your set up.

You're wondering if you would have more power at 640 lift ??

That's why get a good cam guy to spec it. He can tell you those things, based on your complete setup. It's a bunch of money and work to just guess. Some advice given here may be great , or not. Like you I'm not a cam expert so I wouldn't know.

Since the engine is essentially an air pump......and with all other things being equal, it makes sense to presume that more lift will result in more power.....as long as your heads flows more air cleanly at the additional lift point and your fuel and ignition systems can handle the additional airflow.
