Default What Size 18" Front Tire Are You Running w/your 305/30/19 Rear

As the title says 18x9 and 19x10.5 combination of wheels, what front tire are you running with your 305/30/19 rear?

19 x 10.5 rear with 305/30/19 tire

18 x 9 front with ? (255/35/18 perhaps or another suggestion that you are running)

I know that we "Need" to keep the front to rear ratio within 1.2" or 1.3" difference if memory serves me correctly .

Thanks, Matt

265/35 18's is what I ran. No trouble with the nannies. No rubbing. Just very slightly less ground clearance. Perfect front to rear ratio if memory serves.

This is what I ran but decided I didn't like the new steering feel. Just felt heavy.

Nobody else has ever mentioned this with this tire set up so maybe just me being weird. But I thought enough to go back to stock sizes. And noticed the difference immediately.

I was on 10 inch and 11 inch width rims though.

Just curious if the rim/tire weight per corner increase or decreased?

I went from stock size runflats to wider non runflats 265/305 and 1/2" wider TSW rims all the way around. The wider combo was actually lighter than the stock rims and runflats.

Not sure but I am going with a set of Cray Spiders for my set-up and they are lighter than the stock wheels -

But I would say that the overall weight decreased or should decrease in my case too -

Thanks,Matt

(1) I do like that the 265/35/18 (25.3" tire height) to 305/30/19 (26.3" tire height) has a 1" differential and is yielding a taller front tire as compared to the 255 below -

(2) Whereas the 255/35/18 (25.0" tire height) to 305/30/19 (26.3" tire height) has a 1.3" differential - but the front tire is shorter in height on this combo -

I am liking the #1 selection of 265 front and 305 rear, especially since it is not interfering with the wheel/speed sensors, due to the taller front tire -

Thanks,Matt

I imagine the weight increased, I know the tires are larger and the rims being larger should of added some weight too.

The rims were LG World Challenge rims. Mid priced so nothing exotic weight wise.

Tires were Kumo, both I would avoid again btw.

I just know the combination I did not care for.

And yes I went from RF to non RF so maybe the weight was much different. Never weighed the items.

I always thought it was due to the wider front tire patch.
