What is the measured capacity of the full size corvette DeWitts radiator?
It hold one additional gallon over the stock unit

What would that be as a volume measurement? I've measured a 2010 GS radiator, a 2008 base radiator, and an aftermarket stock replacement for a Z06. Although they appeared identical at first glance, on closer inspection it was easy to see the difference in tube size and none of them measured the same volume. One extra gallon is impressive even it's only more than the largest.

Suggest, as another did, to do a very thorough cleaning of the radiator fins... brush, compressed air, whatever it takes to free them of the amazing amount & variety of debris that accumulates there. Last time I did this I saw my idle in traffic @75-80degree drop from 220 to 205... easiest mod you can do...
