HELP Please !!! Clutch Pedal Flat
Today while shifting my 6-speed manual 2012 Grandsport, the clutch pedal went flat and would not return to the normal position. The clutch is still engaged so I know I didn't burn out the clutch. I think it's either the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder. Can this be resolved by flushing and bleeding the master cylinder? Or am I looking at replacing the master cylinder or slave cylinder? The reservoir still has a normal amount of fluid in it, albeit dirty and old looking. The car has 27,000 miles on it, and was a one owner vehicle driven by a 68-year-old gentleman. No leaks on the ground are noted either. Also the clutch spring appears to be intact and attached appropriately.

My 2013 GS did the exact same thing at 2500 miles. After much back and forth with my local Chevy dealer they informed me that GM had just issued a recall on this. The clutch was fine but they had to replace all of the lines including the clutch fluid reservoir.
Check with your local Chevy dealer before you spend any $$$.

Thanks, I'll check it out! I Also used a suction device to remove what fluid was in the reservoir and replaced it with new clutch fluid. I cycled the clutch pedal 30 times. Clutch fluid in the reservoir was dirty so I repeated the procedure until the fluid cleared up. I never got any "pedal" back. The clutch pedal remains on the floor still dead. I'll call my local Chevy dealer in the morning.
