Our X-Pipe is the same for both, however we include additional connection pipes for both models in the kit." Does that mean one tube for the 2008 and one for the 2009-13?
Great price but I am not sure what the system will fit the 2008 without a lot of work trying to bend the tubes. Seems like there are several 2008 owners looking at this system. The Camaro guys seem to like them.
I think he had it wrong, if you read the post #15 where I said "Sean, from my research it should be 2005-2008 then a change on the drivers side x-pipe to axle-over for 2009-2013. I just want to clarify your system is designed for a 2009-2013 LS3."
Since this is a three piece x-pipe you are correct the x-pipe (1) should be the same from 2005-2013, drivers side extension pipe (2) the same from 2005-2013. The problem you will have is the passengers side extension pipe (3) from the x-pipe to the axle over will only fit a 2009-2013. To correct that you would have to modify that pipe to a different angle. There is a thread on the forum with a pic showing the difference in the pipe angle when it makes the bend from the x-pipe to the axle over.

what year/transmission did you order for? Did you request ceramic coating? Look forward to reading your review and seeing lots of photos!

I have a 2011 gs auto and you have only one option on the set other than gaskets and 02 sensor extensions, gaskets I use mls gm 12617944 or MAHLE MS16124 and 02 sensor extensions half the cost on the auction site. I also expect to upgrade the exhaust clamps to wider but will not know until I receive the system, . From what he posted the header set is designed from a 2012 LS3 so my take from this is 2009-2013 when using the pipes that are 3" reduced to 2.5" to connect to the axle over. On the other set pipe extensions that are included in the set are 3" to 3" to the axle over and designed form a 2009 z06. From my research the oem x-pipe did not change in 2009 on the z06 as it did on the ls3 and if you look at the generic pics posted on #1 they are a shorter in length. On the ceramic coating I read a recent post on another forum where they do not offer ceramic coating.

Thank you for your business. We have been selling them for approx 4 months now. They were prototyped off of a 2009 ZO6, and a 2012 standard C6 using two sets of different rear connection pipes between the both models. Meaning they will fit all 2009-2013 Corvettes. Both of those connection pipes are included in our X-Pipe box. The headers and X-Pipe just short of rear connection pipes will also work on 2005-08 models as well, however to connect them to the the factory cat-back of the 2005-08 models some fabrication will need to be done with our rear connection pipes. The confusion came in yesterday about the 2008 models. I was assuming they had the same cat-back as the 2009-13 since they are LS3. Upon looking further into it we realized the 2008 models are like the 2005-07 LS2 cat-backs. We revised our description, and everything should be correct now.

Thanks
Sean

About to order mine tonight for an 05. Hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to get it to fit.

If you have stock mufflers you could swap it out with one from a 2009-2013, they don't sell for much vs npp then no need to modify. You should only have to swap out the passengers side.

Sounds like a good idea. Right now I'm running no muffler stock axleback so I'll have to try to make it fit with tips from couple people that made it work for them. If it does get too obnoxious running straight pipes though, I'll look into those years for mufflers.

Tracking shows to be delivered on 7/10 and I will post pic's inside the collector for spike, header flange and so on. I am not sure when I will do the install, I am chasing a problem with a e-force install and do not want to compound the problem using the canned tune.

Has anyone else placed a order, I decided when I receive the headers on the 10th If all looks well from shipping then I will go ahead and do the install for fit. I would rather find out now then later on fit, then if that works out I will pull them back off for coating. I would prefer coating first but without any other installs on the forum to go by I will wait.

I’ll be getting mine on the 11th. I’ll be able to install it either the same day or the 12th depending on what time it arrives. I’ll post here how my experience with the install will be.

Since you have the 05 you will have to do some fabricating unless you was able to get the 09-13 axle over. On mines it's a 11 so this way others can tell from both installs on fit and modification.

I will get them coated after I make sure they fit and do not need any modifications.

I am debating if I want to flange together the collector and x-pipe and weld the x-pipe extensions together with the x-pipe. Less clamps for leakage and will be base on the oem system setup that way. I noticed I didn't take a pic of the bung on the x-pipe but it is there and you can see the hole from the inside view of the x-pipe.

Does ZO6 kit stay 3" front to back? Also, any installed pics on ZO6 (specifically looking for "mod needed" to mate to 06 car)? And again, any before/after dyno numbers?
