Dry Sumps on both the C6 and C7 kits will need to have the lines disconnected at the engine and pushed down to install our headers.

Thanks

Wanted to give a shout out to Speed on these headers. What a great set of headers for a unreal price. Ground clearance, fitment, build quality all get an A++! Easiest install i've ever done, total of 4 hours. Put them on last night on my 06' z51. Nothing needed removed except spark plugs. I used my 2.5" Corsa x pipe and just had to do some slight modifications( shorten, add reducer). Glad i didn't spend over a grand on headers!

I came from the F body world and Speed Engineering was the go-to header company. Not surprised to see they’re taking care of the C6 guys too. Thanks guys.

Did you use a lift or jack stands? How high did you have to get it off the ground if you used stands?

I needed 18" to the frame to get them in off jack stands. Once your high enough they slid right in.

Thanks for your review. I too am running a Corsa X pipe without cats. Are you experiencing the unburnt fuel smell? That is suppose to happen without cats? Looking for long tubes now and just found this post, seems to be a great price. Thanks.

Your going to have fuel smell with no cats, i kinda like it!! Can't say enough good things about the headers. It sounds sooo good. Seems quite a bit louder w/o cats and headers. Cam coming real soon.

Installed speed headers and xpipe on my 08 LS3 auto. I share the same sentiments as others on the product. Great product irrespective of price. Very easy install for headers. Mated it to stock npp. Created a more detailed post with modification picture in the performance forum.

Hi Sean,
Gave you guys a shout out and then found out I was in the C5 section, Doh.
Just had these headers and x pipe installed on my 09 with npp and a tune, feels and sounds great along with the price...
Had money left over for a tune and then some....
I did use 31 inch 02 extensions instead of the 24 I got off you, did not even take them out of the bag went on another posters reviews, can these be returned?
Thanks,
Very satisfied customer.

Anyone else had these installed? We just had the first "cold" front in Florida and I'm getting the itch for a garage project.

I installed them as posted earlier. My buddy just got done installing them on Sunday on his c6. He's very happy with them to my knowledge.

I'm waiting to buy a set until they include the extra piping for the 2008 model.

I have a Corsa axle back system and I didn't have to modify the X pipe to work on my 2008 Z06.

Just picked up a set of the headers - quality looks great!

It is going on an ‘06 Base, any word on the updated midpipe for LS2/2008 cars?
