Default Speed Engineering Headers xpipe

Looks like a great deal for ss headers from Speed Engineering. They don't offer a catted x-pipe, though.
Would I still see gains using the stock xpipe or should I find some cats and have them welded into their xpipe?

simple job to add cats. do you need them to pass emissions? they will help to cut out drone in exhaust if you get any

What year is your car? This is the note that put me off (I have a 2008):
  • 2005-2008 C6 Corvette & C6 Corvette ZO6 (Fabrication needed to Cat-Back)
If you don't have an X-Pipe that will connect to the stock Cat-Back, you're not ready for prime time.
