Default Turning issue causing wheel to lock and hard right and left....

When I turn hard right or left with about 25mph+ it feels the the wheel opposite of the turn binds and stops for a brief second and continues on and off throughout the turn.

This happened with stock wheels and aftermarket wheels. I removed the front and rear lower plastic with no resolve. I can’t see where it rubs anywhere. Anyone have this issue?

Facts: the car is lowered on stock bolts.

Stock size wheels / tires? Almost sounds like an AH issue. Any indication of AH on gauge panel?

I have the stock 18” with 285 35 18. I didn’t notice it much with these wheels.

I have pirelli p zeros on now with slicks. (Can’t remember the size) I bought the forgestar 18x10.

What is ah? No lights on the dash except tpms

AH = Active Handling

I can't tell from your description but you might have a problem with front to rear tire diameter stagger ratio. For a quick check, determine the diameter of the front tire then multiply by 1.04 to know the "ideal" rear tire diameter. If your rear tire diameter is very far off that ideal number then your setup is causing the computer to react with AH.

Have no idea ...But turning that sharp at 25+ mph is not called for. .... MHO ...On track, there are other racers who would know answer better than I.

fix your TPMS issue and your problem will go away on its own

seriously? Or is this a guess? in all reality this does make sense with my history of the car.

I did also notice some rubbling on the top part of the wheel well. My next idea is to raise it up some to see. But if it’s a tpms issue then I would much rather fix that and leave the stance.
