I would have to pull the build sheets on them to say for sure, chances are its a Federal Mogul bearing.
Every bearing manufacturer is going to have a different 'crush' once installed in the blocks so we use a number of bearings, coated or not, depending on application and required clearances. King, FedMog, Clevite, ACL all offer nice tri layer bearings for LS in a number of sizes.

We haven't had issues with the RHS cracking. Typically the cracks in those blocks are either more power than it was setup to handle. Or, and what seems to be more common place, is over torquing of the main fasteners in the block causing them to crack at the main webbing.
At the end of the day for us, this is a NA engine in the 800-1300hp range depending on finishout so it won't see 40lbs of boost hitting it or a 600 shot of spray, which would push you more towards a iron block of some sort, be it Dart or what ever.
