Default uneven right front tire wear

Hoping someone can lend their insight. The right front tire on my 11' GS is wearing on the inside and outside lip of the tire. At first I thought it might be under-inflated but it appears to be under perfect pressure. My dealer can do an alignment but I don't want them to touch it if that's not the issue. The car drives smooth and straight on the highway with no major vibration. Thoughts?

They can check the alignment before touching the adjustments. This would be my first step.

Any funny noises? Knocking or clicking when turning or accelerating from a stop?

My first guess was also tire pressure but you batted that down. Next is either alignment or something is loose and/or broken on that corner of your suspension.

You say it appears to have perfect pressure, did you check it with a good tire gauge? Perfect pressure might be 32psi.

Alignment....Alignment....Alignment. Forget about a dealer. Stop by Thrust Performance on Rt. 9 (southbound) in So. Amboy. They know Corvettes & have a very good reputation among NJ Vette owners.

Wear on both the inner and outer edges is unusal. Most of the time, that's underinflation wear. Was it ever run underinflated? Are you sure it hasn't been?

Most "alignment issues" wear either the inner edge or the outer edge, but usually not both. If it's not underinflation damage, then check for worn/loose parts. If the wheel is moving when it shouldn't (especially in the toe directions) from excessive play, that can wear both edges. I've seen that kind of wear from badly worn tie rod ends, for example. That's much less likely than underinflation, though. When it's worn parts, usually only one edge is worn, or at most, one edge is worn a lot more than the other edge.

Aren't GS models notorious for this tire wear. Is it a inherited trait or just poor set from factory.

Not haven owned one I am not sure it can be eliminated completely.

What C6_Racer_X said. Search for tire wear alignment issues and try to find a chart or list giving the alignment issue that wears both inner and outer edge of a tire. Doesn't exist.
