Default C6 Z06 Recommended Tires and Size

I have a 2010 Z06 currently has stock size tires Front 275/35R18 and Rear 325/30R19s running Nitto Invo NTINV-1 tires. I reside in Oregon where we have lots of rain and winter weather. I don’t drive the C6 in the snow but will drive it in the rain and could get caught out in some light snow flurries in the winter time. I don’t track the car. Looking for a good all season tire that is quiet and has a good mileage rating. I see good reviews on the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2S tires but are not a all season tire. Also good reviews on the Nitto NT555 G2 Tires. I see where some Z06 owners have went to a rear size 345/30R19 tire. What do you recommend for my climate and a smooth quiet tire with reasonable tread ware life? Thanks

Michelin has an all season 0 air press. that is the correct size for your car. Have them on mine in WV great year round tire.

I run factory sized Bridgestone Potenza RE050. They are a run flat with lots of tread for rain but are not freezing or snow rated. So far I like them better than the factory Goodyear's an the Michelin Pilots I have had on it.

Looking at these tires: Michelin Sport A/S 3+, Bridgestone Potenza RE050A, Goodyear Eagle F1, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP, Nitto Invo NTINV-1, Nitto Invo NT555.

Z06 with PS would be my choice, since they work well in the wet, but would not plan on driving it in any ice or snow.
As for A/S on the z06, may help in winter (still would not drive the car is its going to snow or have ice on the ground), but going to suck in the summer time instead.

Truth is, if your going to try to drive the car all winter long, would look for a set of rims on Craigslist that you can pick up for cheap, and have a cheap set of A/S mounted on them with cloned TPS. These could be your winter trash tires for the times is safe to take the car out in the winter, and then have summer performance tires like the PS's mounted on your existing rims for summer use instead.

When I lived in the Puget Sound I daily drove my 2011 C6 Z06 54K+ miles on Michelin 345/295 Pilot Super Sport non-runflats and couldn't have been happier!

Thanks again for the recommendations, I was kinda leaning towards the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ ZPs especially with the 500 rating but will also look at the Pilot Super Sports non-runflats. Thanks

You're welcome, non-run flats are smoother & quieter!

On my 2012 G.S. I purchased a set of non run flat Cooper tires from Discount tire direct and have never regretted my purchase.

I have Michelin Sport A/S 3+ on my Audi S6 and they are great. You can get these in the stock sizes for you Z06.

I just put a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my 2011 Grand Sport (same fitment as your Z06) and they have been awesome. But if you will be doing any driving in even slightly snowy weather, at least go with an all-season tire.

It appears Tire Rack is phasing out the Michelin Pilot Super Sports and replacing them with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (non runflats) 300AA rating. Which have great reviews. Since I don’t see myself driving much if any in really bad weather (Snow/Ice) and I definitely prefer a quieter/smoother running tire that still handles good on dry or wet pavement I feel like the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is the way to go. I don’t see a reason to change tire sizes. Thanks again for all your recommendations. I don’t track the car but mostly just drive it for enjoyment with the occasional acceleration feel. Love the car, this is my second Z06. I’ve never had any problems out of either of them. Happy New Year

95% of reviews on this forum will lead you to the Michelin Pilot sport A/S 3.

I just purchased the BFGoodrich SportComp 2 A/S. Didnt wanna spend the money on Michelin. These were almost half their price. My vette is mostly a fancy grocery getter in the summer.
