Well I'm not concerned about the missing clock any more. The unit in my 05 has decided to cycle between the emblem and a blank screen.

Looking to buy a replacement but not sure that I want to pay the premium price for a newer unit. Also I'm not sure that the newer unit's clock won't stop working. May just buy an 05-10 model at a much lower price

Buy a 2011-13 USB nav head easy to install. I di9d it. I put a newer console and added the Aux port wiring. Cheers

After all that? No doubt they'll have a solution in mere moments.

I've been checking for an 11-13 head unit and the only lower priced one that I've found is $500.00 with smoke damage on the top and side. It has to have been close to a fire so it's out.

I can get one from a 08, with DVD, that they seller replaced for $250.

All the vendors that I looked at want $1300.00++ for an 11-13 unit.

I'm not that confident that the clocks on 11-13 heads will keep working.

Besides, I wear a watch so it not being displayed is no big deal.

Is there a link to how to swap them out?

Isn't it about time we brought in the GM representative here on CF to see what they can do? I don't recall what their handle is, but this is exactly the kind of widespread problem they're supposed to handle.

So after my run in with the dealer in my previous post, I have made my decision to sell and move away from my corvettes. This is my 6th one and both my wife and I have one. I went back to the C6 because of the looks. After installing a LSX eng due to a valve dropping and with all the other mods it’s the principle behind **** poor customer service not the clock as much, however I do miss my clock. It sucks because LS fest and everything else I do with my car I’ll have to find a new group. Looks like a hellcat or demon may be in the future. Watch the for sale forum there may be a 1000RWHP Z06 on there soon.

So last week was week 0 and this week is week 1, or weeks 1 and 2, depending how the computer counts them, just went for a 10 mile ride and still no clock. The GPS locked on work correctly. Check on the diagnostic screen and still no latitude, longitude, or GMT time displayed even though it was in 3D mode locked onto 6 satellites. Even drove to a destination, GPS functioned correctly except no time to destination.

I guess the clock function is gone forever without some kind of a fix.

Unfortunately, you are probably right...no fix from GM...no clock.
I went to Pep Boys and bought a $6. digital clock and stuck it to the dash with the supplied velcro. At least I know what time it is. But Still don't have estimated arrival time in Navigation or the Nav digital clock. Guess it's gone...REST IN PEACE.

GM is working on it, according to Senior Technical Adviser. I mentioned the number of complaints about this problem and they really did not seem that much concerned, just that their engineers are looking at the problem.

I have a 2007 Colorado and the blower motor resistor quit. This is a known problem with first gen Colorado/Canyons. The truck was, obviously, out of warranty. I bought the part and fixed it. Game over.
Next?

Well, my clock came back yesterday morning after being absent for weeks. I did nothing to initiate it. It had some trouble keeping the correct time throughout the day, so I had to reset it a couple of times. This morning everything seems fine and it is keeping the time correctly...for now!

Is it now showing the correct date? Or, maybe year 2000?

Also, in diagnostic, nav page (post#610), does it show running GMT time and active latitude/longitude?
