Welcome to the club of "The clock stopped working." Every day there is someone now with the same problem but only after the battery disconnected. Suggest calling GM and dealership and report the problem. The more of us that do might help to get the problem fixed. As more C6 owner disconnect their batteries more will have the problem, I believe.

Agreed. Been running the disk since it came out more than two years ago. Disconnected the battery several weeks ago and find myself in the same boat. However, my '08 ran a two-disk set, the 2016 disk does it all in one disk. It's worth the expense, even without the clock.

It's a theory that started on the Cadillac forums. GPS's week number resets from 1023 back to 0 on that date (the last time that happened was 1999). So maybe the '05-'10 navs will start working again if they just couldn't handle the larger (1000+) week numbers. Or maybe they won't and the '11-'13 ones will break too.
A major flaw in that theory is that the first Corvette nav clocks didn't start dying until mid-December. People disconnected their batteries in November with no issues, as reported here. Week 1000 would have been back in late October.

clock and GPS
Thank you all for being here. I am impressed with the Qs and As I have read so with that in mind I have a problem.
I took my '08 to the dealer to mount new rubber (thank you Discount Tire Direct for a great deal) TPMS sensors, four wheel alignment, service and the induction service. I was told later that day that I needed a new battery. I questioned that because I have had zero problems with the electrical system. However, due to the age of the vehicle I consented to replace the old battery. I was told it was a Bosche battery and in dire need of being replaced. They installed a Delco 85PG I think. So it has been replaced at least once. After I got the car back I had no GPS in NAV (a slash through it) and NO CLOCK! I have tried almost everything to no avail. Has anyone found a remedy for this problem? Respectfully Submitted, Pete

No Clock Display part II
Youre right on both items: The 2016 Nav disc is a nice update, and it has no effect on the clock display. I'll be calling GM to add my name to the unhappy customers affected by this issue. Unless folks want to pay for a later model/new Nav head, I think time (waiting for a fix) is the only solution. (Pardon the pun.)

It's definitely firmware. with the date being off like that. We need more people to check the date on their Nav if you still have a clock. This also tells me Nippon Denso knew about this a long time ago as the time and date are correct on my 2012 USB Radio. Call Chevy and complain!!!!

New Nav Disv
Hi. I got mine from eBay, brand new in original packaging for around $25-$30. Works great. I also have an '05 C6. It's the 2016 version.
