I don't have the issue on my 2012 but saw this posted for an Avalanche. Thought it was worth posting so somebody could try it and see if it would work.

Mine has stopped working since I disconnected the battery a week ago too.
I looked through all the menus in the diagnostic mode and there's no clock button like the video shows.

When you drive the car the first couple of miles, it will reconnect with the satellites. What you won't have is the clock, and when you try the navigation, no ETA for your destination!

From the Coast Guard GPS website ...."In an effort to modernize the GPS constellation, modifications are being made to the GPS space and ground control segment. These changes should be transparent to IS-GPS-200 compliant receivers, however, commercial and civilian users who experience impacts are encouraged to contact the Navigation Center or by phone at (703) 313-5900."
This notice was issued by the USAF in October. Changes were apparently made in November.
So maybe 2005-2010 Corvettes don't have IS-GPS-200 compliant receivers?
The officer I spoke to said its a firmware problem for us. That once disconnected and reconnected she suspects the GPS date (from which the time is eventually calculated) calculated resulted in a date our GPS did not expect and could not handle by the way it was programmed. Thus the system rejected the date and thus time data.

Battery died
So add me to the list my battery died last week when I finally pulled my 2007 Z out of the garage so I replaced it. And low and behold NO CLOCK. I called my local dealer to see if they could help they said sure for 275.00 they could look at it and tell me my clock don’t work. So I drove to the dealership to talk to the service manager he basically said I should just leave it with them. when asked how much that would cost he said it would be the hourly rate. I explained to him in a very polite manner that he was about to choke on his teeth. I was asked to never come back after the scene I caused. Can’t figure that out either. LOL. My car is far from stock LSX blown with Alky that was hand built my Two thumbs auto “this guy” so I’m by far not a novice! Last dyno was 952HP on pump gas. I guess why the hell do I need a clock. My guess is my complaint won’t make it to GM but the service manager may need new underwear

DO NOT take your car to the dealership until you read here there is a fix. Many dealers will charge you but tell you there is nothing they can do but replace your infotainment system for a bazillion bucks. That won't work unless they give you a 2011 or newer unit.
When I took mine in my dealer was the one that told me there was no known fix and don't bother to leave my car. An honest answer. But the knowledge they have came from a customer that read this forum...NOT from GM. So GM has been silent on this issue with my dealer and maybe all dealers. Time to complain to GM folks.
Lets see what happens on the 7th.
Also it occurred to me today that I replaced the battery in my wife's Lexus about the same time as my 2010 Corvette. Her analog clock stopped working as well. It did function but did not keep the correct time. Over about two months of resetting the clock to the correct time it eventually came back to life and keeps accurate time. I wonder if Lexus had a similar problem like ours but fixed it? On the other hand when I was having trouble with her clock my research of Lexus forums indicated that was a common historic problem, not necessarily a post November 2018 issue. Still an interesting coincidence.

Add me to the list also. Had the battery disconnected for two weeks while I tore out the dash to install a torn Mode Valve and all the HVAC actuators on my 05. Powered everything up and no clock displayed on the Nav Unit. Also have a red line thru the GPS but the unit appears to track. Drove about 15 miles to the dealer and back, still have a slash thru the GPS. After installing all new parts, the mode valve actuator appears to be running when the car is shut off. It appears to cycle every 10 to 12 minutes. Dealer did a recalibrate of all the actuator motors but the unit it still acting up. Anyone else have this issue??? Keep me posted on the clock fix, thanks.

But Ill bet the units will require a Firmware upgrade to work.
So looks like there may be a rush on after market Pioneer and Kenwood units in April
You know GM is not going to give a Rats *** about a 12 year old head unit

I hope my 2012 USB Nav keeps on keeping on!

C6 Clock
I am unclear on one aspect:
If the battery is disconnected and the clock display lost.....
1) My question is:
Is the clock set-up menu also lost?
In other words, anyone try pressing the set up button (on outside left Nav radio case)
then pressing the clock icon in the center of the lower screen display, then try
changing to 12/ 24 hour, daylight savings or region and if so did the clock display return?
2) Also a second question:
If one has to disconnect a battery can a Battery Tender be clipped to the cables
to supply power so the clock display is not lost? Is there a temporary better powering option?
(Trying to think outside the box to not lose the clock display for us here...idea welcomed)
Yes, I would agree this is a software issue shared with Cadillac and from above
some type of fix is due Apl 2019.

Oh yeah... This year's BASH in Bowling Green is coming up at the end of April. So, pushing out the clock fix on the 9th might be evil genius?

To keep power in the system while doing a battery swap, we used to use a battery pack made up of an batteries in a carrier...I believe Radio Shack had them, by attaching a cigarette lighter plug to it, you could insert it into the cigarette lighter socket and disconnect the battery, you could also connect it to the battery cables before disconnecting from the main battery.
