Default Raising/lowering the car 2006 C6 Z06

I had this going on another post but not yet getting the info I would like to have. Maybe the subject has been beat to death but I could not catch on any of the searches which way to turn the bolts. Maybe it is a stupid question.
I am trying to go ahead with raising my car to try and get clearance for my new aftermarket wheels since some guys on the forum have the same setup with no issues, these are Cray wheels and supposedly designed to fit the vette...I am assuming the car was lowered since it is about an inch lower than another forum member's after discussion but dont know for sure since I bought it used. Even with OEM wheels and rubber the tires will rub sometimes in big dips in the road. I know it is not the spoiler since I can smell the rubber.
It doesnt look like there are aftermarket bolts from what I can see, comparing to a youtube video and the plastic spacer looks a little rough.

Is there anyone that can recall which way to turn the bolts so I dont have to use trial and error?
Does the spring sit on the spacer or how does this work? Also if anyone has an recollection of where this info is in the factory manual pls let me know.

It is a little tough to get a look at the bolt but I took a crappy image of the left front and it seems there is allot of thread left will turning it clockwise raise the vehicle?
Aslo wondering if new shocks can raise a car a little. I dont think so but I was told I should get new shocks based solely upon the mileage of the car.
I dont know much about suspension stuff at all so if anyone has any suggestions besides raising the vehicle or turning bolts pls chime in.

Clockwise should raise the car. Make sure all the weight is off the wheels.

Good to know thanks. I will inspect both springs. Time for me to become familiar with suspension.
Wondering about coil overs but have a feeling more trouble than worth.

another thing about ride height.
I was told by a sports car shop foreman that new shocks might raise ride height a half inch but that doesnt make sense to me.

I have had coilover on my car for 12 years with no issues and just put coilovers on my other car. Just make sure you buy good
ones. Mine are LG.

man those stupid adjusters are frozen
they are set in the middle. Applied penetrating oil and will do every few days hoping to free up.

You have a jack raising just the leaf spring correct? You should have a gap between the loweing bolt and the lower control arm so there’s no pressure on the bolt. I hit mine with an impact wrench to break it loose as well.
