C6 driver seat
So going to look at a car Monday and the driver seat will not move at all. How expensive is the seat fix I know it can be a bad wire. A fuse a bad motor or a number of things it’s a 2008 c6. Wanting to know some information so I know how much to ask or haggle the price with

How expensive it will be will depend on whether or not you can get the seat out. If the seat is all the way down and all the way to the back, you cannot access the rear bolts to pull the seat. There are ways to move the seat forward depending on what the failure is, but sometimes it is not that simple and you have to end up destroying the seat to get it out.

Check the power module wiring- it's the red black 2 pin connection under the seat
The wire grid may hitting the wires causing damage - easy fix just replace with pigtail.
this happened to me- seat just stopped working, pulled seat cushion and sure enough the wire grid was the culprit.
