Default 05 Corvette Need Help!!!!!!!

I"m in need of some help. I bought my first corvette its an 05 model thinking it was a good deal. Paid 6k for the car being that is a rebuilt title. The vehicle was hit on the passenger fender so obviously wiring harness took a hit. I was able to source out an engine harness and transmission harness. However this are not a perfect match for the car since this car has selective handling suspension and all of the new harness does not have that. Long story short connected everything car turns on but I cannot accelerate, car idles and everything seems to be working except for the accelerator pedal. Selective handling has been disabled using Tech II.

Auto 4 speed
Selective ride

Corvette throttles are drive by wire. You've got a short in your throttle circuit. You'll have to trace it back to find the short.

OP, I find your username ironic, but funny. Hope you figure it out.

Copy. However I was curious if the wiring harness is any different which would cause the throttle body to not open when the accelerator has been pressed. I'm able to mess with the idle thru tech II like change idle to 700 rpms 900 rpms and all of that however when pedal is pressed nothing happens. I do have a code which states gas pedal is not working and one for CAN BUS communication I believe, I need to double check the codes. I did at one point manage to jump the pedal signal from pedal connector to ecu and the car does accelerate. I would need to remove dashboard and start looking for any short circuits. I did ring (check continuity on the cable from pedal to ecu and it seems fine).

I'm not a tuner by any means, so I don't know for sure, but can you read the throttle position from the OBD2 port? If the signal's not getting to the computer, you've found your problem...

I'm able to see throttle position signal however at the time I press the accelerator nothing happens. I do greatly appreciate any input. Also I have replaced the gas pedal and sensor and still no luck.

You do know that any electronics that you replace on the car have to be programmed to work with your car...right??? You can't just install a new sensor without mating it to your specific vehicle using a Tech 2.... WW

Do I need to reprogram my ecu?? Or accelerator pedal? I have Tech II however the only thing that I have changed on the vehicle was the wiring harness engine and trans and pedal since then I reflashed the ecu but no dice.

are you sure you bought an engine harness for a M32 transmission? The engine harness for a MM6 transmission is quite different.

Yep, nothing standard to the wiring harness through the models, and even the wiring harness from a Base to Z51 has the wires at different locations on the connectors.
