Default Who can ID this Manual Trans sensor input? RE:Error codes c0121, c0252, c0899, v2100

Hey there folks!! I'm been searching the forum for an hour, and can't find a nice blowup picture showing which sensors/wires go are on a C6 manual trans and what they do.

It started with the error codes mentioned above (c0121, c0899, c0252, v2100) on my 2006 z51 convertible.

So I'm poking around hoping I don't have to replace the ECBM as I have found on this forum. (eeek.. this doesn't sound fun)

Get under the car and I find this wire disconnected:

I've plugged it back in, and nothing has changed. Cleared codes and they immediately come back on. So, I'm suspecting this wire was just my reverse lights or something stupid.

However, I'm hopeful this is part of the Active Handling or ABS systems (i.e. transmission speed vs wheel speeds vs vehicle speed seemed to make sense to calculate ABS/AHS inputs) and maybe when the wire came out, the connections are got damages, sensor died, or it touched the exhaust pipe too many times and fried a wire.

Can anyone tell me what that sensor location is for? (speed sensor, reverse, temp?). Even better, anyone have an exploded diagram showing what all those sensors are on the trans?

From there... I can start running down these darn error codes.

The very top one with a black connector is for the 'reverse inhibit', next one is the 'skip shift' solenoid, and the bottom one is the fluid temperature sensor.

Thanks... so not going to solve my error codes... but good to know. Thanks for identifying them all for me.

You're welcome. All of those codes are EBCM related, but it sounds like you already figured that out. Good luck & let us know what you find, it may help someone else down the road.
