Mininum Parts:
1. Cam
2. Pushrods
3. Valvesprings
4. Crank Bolt

Beyond that, it depends on what you might want to replace while doing the cam install. Depending on your goals and how many miles on on the engine other possible replacement parts are timing chain, oil pump, valve seals, cam plate and bolts, cam sprocket, chain tensioner. If you also want to replace the lifters you will also need new lifters, lifter trays, head gaskets, cleaning items to clean the head and block surfaces and bolt holes, new head bolts.

As an example, when I did a cam swap on a 2006 GTO, my parts list was cam, pushrods, springs, valve seals, cam plate, front cover gaskets. The car was at 35K miles so the oil pump, timing chain, lifters, trays had very little wear so no need to change those.

Other people when doing a cam sway, are more extensive in the parts they change out.

It just depends on what you want to do and how much you want to spend.

Here is a list of things we normally recommend for a cam swap. Some of them are not a must do, but nevertheless these are the things we would change or replace while doing the job.

Cam
Pushrods
Valve springs with all hardware
Trunion kit
Front Cover gasket
Front Crank seal
Crank bolt
New timing chain
Engine Oil
Coolant
Power steering fluid

If you still have the factory balancer, I would suggest a new one. Not OEM. I installed an ATI, but hear good things on PowerBond.

You won't need a crank bolt as it has an ARP that is reusable FYI...
