What clutch to go with?
Have a 2013 Corvette gs, has longtubes and cai. Dynoed 434 rwhp and 440rwtq. On my most recent track outing the clutch let go. So I'm in the market for a new one. Something that will hold future mods as well.
What are your recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I have a MamoMotorsports RPS BC2 Lightened (32 Lbs total clutch and steel flywheel) in my 590+ RWHP C5.
It is awesome, pedal pressure maybe +10% VS Stock at most very easy to drive good for ~700 RWHP.
Tony also sells a single disc combo 38 Lbs total with aluminums flywheel that is good for ~550 RWHP
for about 1/2 the aforementioned RPS that I will use when I need to replace my original clutch in my
C6 Daily Driver which will be limited to 430-450 RWHP when all is said and done.
Factory Clutch & Flywheel is about 52 lbs depending on model.
Performance can obviously be improved by lightening, BUT and its a BIG BUTT LOL
Everything on how the car is used goes into the calculus. A daily driver that goes up and down
the hills in SF (with light mods) at one end of the spectrum to a trailered dedicated road race
car at the other.
Monster also has a good reputation especially for more budget conscious.
Just my .02

I’ve spoken to someone this week who has had both the above mentioned clutch and the Monster LT1-S, he said hands down the Monster is much nicer to drive on the street; and for sure in traffic.
Not to mention it’s the OEM clutch in the standard and Z06 C7’s.
I’ve looked at all our different clutch options, gathering as many opinions as possible, and for me it comes down to the twin or triple organic Monster. If you’re looking to do a lot of launches, I’d personally go with the triple.

Monster LT1S twin with the standard weight billet flywheel is what I’d recommend as well, it’ll hold your future plans and last longer than any other multi disc clutch as well as literally driving like a stock C7ZR1 clutch.
