Default Valve cover leaks

looking for some advise, i have a lsx (ls3 style engine) with the orange lsx gm valve covers, having issues with oil seeming out along the bottom edge of seal/valve cover, tried some blue felpro, have some comet ones aswell, they all seem to leak, torqued the bolts down to 11nm of torque, which is 109 inch/lbs, still seems quite tight to me, it ends up destroying the rubber wash part of the bolt at that torque level, is there a different torque rating for the taller orange lsx covers?
