I have a fresh new lithium battery in the fob, but the car doesn't like to let me get out if the key is in my pocket (about 50/50 success rate). Is there any kind of fix for that? It always lets me in and if I take the fob out of my pocket and use it to unlock the doors, it lets me out. Otherwise I have to pull the floor door release.

if the cars running you have to push the unlock button, did you consult the owners manual on setting up the lock features?
