Default brake help

I have a baseC6 and am doing a brake upgrade to drilled rotors . upon install the rotors are a few mm larger in diameter . the bracket rubs barely on one side but the rotor will spin .
Questions can I grind down this 2/3 mm worth of bracket or do I have to locate a new bracket . Any input would be appreciated

Comm, yeah, you will need Z51 caliper brackets to work with the larger brake discs. Same pads as base, but the Z51 option discs are significantly larger than base. I know because I ordered base discs then found out my mag suspension Z51 option has discs a lot bigger than base.

I wanted grooved discs vs. drilled, but did not find them available for Z51 option. Drilled is OK for street use, IMHO. The holes will mostly just get loaded with brake pad dust after a while, no big deal on the street.
